It has taken me a while to finish off some of my cg works since I've been working in more traditional mediums lately. But I'm back.

Based off another of my pencil drawings, this one is a sort of spine off of he idea behind the Jenova character from Final Fantasy 7. The disembodiment thing isn't my usual subject matter, but for some odd reason I found it fascinating. She almost looks like a plant, or some strange humanoid capable of body regeneration.
I don't know why, but I drew her with a sort of core in the center of her body. I guess now that I think about it, it could be the very life source that causes her to have extreme regenerative abilities.

The BG was painted rather loosely, but the main focus is the lab-tank with the girl. Just trying out a looser technique I guess.
